Gift Aid
If you are a taxpayer and make a donation to St Benedict's Hospice, we can reclaim 28p on every £1 on your gift from the Inland Revenue. It is a simple way for individuals to support the hospice with minimum fuss or paperwork. The only requirement is that you must pay an amount of income tax equal to, or more than, the tax we reclaim on your donation.
Fundraising with family, friends and colleagues
Organise fundraising events at your workplace, school, club etc
Payroll Giving
Encourage your employer to take up payroll giving. This means a regular amount is deducted from your wages on a regular basis.
Legacies
Writing a Will and keeping it up to date is the only way to ensure that your property and possessions pass to the people you care about. In this modern age you can't be certain what your future holds but a Will allows you the satisfaction of planning the future for the people you love. Once your loved ones are provided for, perhaps you could take the opportunity of leaving a legacy to St. Benedict's Hospice. Legacies form an important part of our income and help us to continue providing our services into the future. There are many reasons why people make legacies to charity: to be remembered when they have gone, to thank them for the help received during their lifetime, to support a charity they were closely involved with, to reflect the wishes of a loved one, they have no dependents. Many people choose this way of leaving a lasting gift to the hospice which will be remembered with appreciation and affection. A legacy to St. Benedict's Hospice can safeguard the future for it's patients, carers and families. If you require further information on legacies please contact the Fundraising Office: Tel 0191 569 9194.
