Hospice Seeks 500 Christmas Turkeys!
Stuff the Christmas Shopping – come Turkey Trotting instead!
No experience needed, costumes provided!
We are looking for 500 “Turkeys” to take part in the 1ST EVER Turkey Trot for St. Benedict’s Hospice and we believe its the first for the UK too!
The Turkey Trot takes place at 11am on 11th December, at Nissan Sports and Social Club, just off the A19 and is an approximate 2k route around the sports fields. It’s not a race, so participants don’t have to be super fit to take part, they can walk the route at a leisurely pace if they wish!
The event has a true “family flavour” with participants of all ages welcome, so why not “stuff” the Christmas shopping and come turkey Trotting instead!
Participants can sign up as families, individuals, groups of mates or work colleagues, if fact anyone of any age can take part.
You can take part in memory of a loved one, as a family activity on the approach to Christmas, or just for the fun of doing something different.
The adult registration fee is just £20 which ensures you a guaranteed numbered entry place, sponsor form and your very own hilarious Turkey costume!
Children’s registration is £5 and includes guaranteed numbered entry place, Cut & Colour turkey Mask, poncho and costume making ideas.
There are prizes for the best children’s costumes.
